Can one trip change the rest of your live? Change it without you least expecting it? That is exactly what happened four years ago when Myrko went on a short assignment to the USA and met Kriszta at the America office of the company they both worked for. They met and Kriszta thought of Myrko as her miracle because it is indeed a miracle to find that special person that you know is the one for you.

Never would they have thought that by the end of the assignment their lives would have changed forever, that four years later they would say their vows in front of their close family and friends. But that is what happened last week when they promised eachother to love and cherish eachother for the rest of their lives.

They were in the Florida Keys and Peter had been thinking about a proposal and when to ask her. He brought a ring and when they went out to capture the setting sun on video Peter had other plans. So in the lights of the setting sun he went down on one knee and asked Femke to marry him and she said yes.

Just like this past week she said yes again and again on the beach. The sun was not setting but luckily it was shining bright and had enough time to stay out and capture this perfect day. I am so happy that Annerieke pointed Femke and Peter my way because it gave us the possibie to capture their wedding. We are honored to have been there to capture your day. Have fun in Spain while reliving your wedding day for the second time.

It there anything better than photographing an engagement session on a beautiful location with a nice couple? I don't think so. What a pleasure it was when we could walk the gardens of Landgoed Elswout and the sun kissed the environment. The little boys playing and being part of this whole experience. And just like with every engagement I had so many images to choose from.

Especially with couples that already have children it is a engagement/family session and kids always have their own plan. Finding things in nature that I would never pick up. "Look!" and through my viewfinder I was looking at a snail, "Thank you very much."

It was a perfect day, a perfect couple, a perfect location, perfect organisation with perfect weather. All family and friends dressed the part for this special occassion because as the location and the couple all of their guests looked just as beautiful.

They were both a little nervous and when they spoke the words I do a smile never left their faces for the remainder of the day. They were both so happy to be husband and wife. They laughed, kissed, toasted, dances, ate and were married.

Rachella and Felix we feel so blessed that you allowed us to be part of your special day. You two are beautiful, with a beautiful daughter and beautiful familiy. Have a great honeymoon in Spain.

This may have been one of the most amazing and fun sessions we have ever done. Walking around Amsterdam, looking for little allies, beautiful canals, streets, bikes and squares to photograph in. We found some amazing spots but also rode the tram, toasted with Procecco and found an ice cream car.

Amsterdam showed her best side, the old architecture and the new showing off in the sun. We got the chance to capture Chieri and Itoshi as they were wrapped up in the city and celebrate their wedding like it just happened on that day.

As we said goodbye on Amsterdam Central Station it felt like saying good bye to old friends. Chieri and Itoshi thank you so much for asking us to capture you Wedding Celebration in Amsterdam. We are honored to have shared this beautiful day with you.

They met three years ago when Chieri applied for a job at the firm where Itoshi worked. He must have felt right away that this girl was the one, the one he had to have for the job and so he said yes and hired her. Not knowing at the time it would be the start of something beautiful and that they would say yes again very soon but then to each other.

Being an architect and designer Itoshi loves Amsterdam. That is one of the reasons they choose to stay at the Lloyd Hotel that was redesigned by the architects of MVRDV. We started inside an found many nice spots to capture. In the visinity of the hotel we found even more great architectural hotspots that we went out to see.

Chieri you are beautiful

Her younger brother knew somebody who could fix the virus problem on her computer because she had no idea how to get rid of it. She never expected that this computer conneseur would turn out to be the man of her dreams. With her brother being younger she expected Felix to be younger as well. But to her surprise Felix was her age and she liked him. Felix got rid of the virus on the computer but planted a little love bug because he liked Rachella as well.

So they went on dates together, then decided to go study together and have never been apart since. With the birth of their daughter Lisa they are now a family. Now 10 years after that first meeting the love bug is ever present and in August they will have their wedding day.
