Haarlemmermeerse Bos Engagement: Robby and Tatiana

The forecast said no rain, no sun either but when I was in my car the raindrop were falling from the sky. But it stopped when I arrived at the location. When Robby and Tatiana came along with their little son the sky was still grey but not threatening. So I was happy to see that while we stayed outside the sun decided to join us.

It was so fun to be out together with Robby and Tatiana. They are so happy and Robby knows how to make Tatiana smile. But the star of the afternoon was their little son. He took center stage. Only 7 months and he can already stand leaning against the table, what a sweet boy.

Robby and Tatiana I am really looking forward to their wedding next month.

Here an overview of the engagement session.

Haarlemmermeerse Bos Engagement Preview: Robby and Tatiana

We discussed places to meet for the engagement shoot. Robby and Tatiana were looking for somewhere outdoors, preferably with flowers. Tatiana is a huge fan of flowers so that was a definite prerequisite. We thought about the Keukenhof but with the amount of visitors and the limited possiblities in the park we decided on something else. We found the Haarlemmermeerse Bos expecting that in May the trees and flowers would be in full bloom. We were just in time with blossom in the trees. We found some great locations for this engagement session.

So today a preview of this lovely session.

Admiron Photography website refresh

It was time to give the website a make-over. With Spring finally arriving it was time for something new. Something that reflects more of what I want my brand to be and a good representation of who I am. I really love the new look which is stylish, beautiful and timeless.

So starting today you can have a look at the new site of Admiron Photography, where you can see the memories we capture. There is a lot to see so have fun with the new site.

Inspiration: Save the Date

A couple of weeks ago I had a nice tea date with Vanessa from Your Fairy Tale she is such a talented lady and really enthousiastic about organising and planning weddings.

We got to discussing the options that couples have with the images of their engagement session, as every couple receives an engagement session as a gift when they book their wedding. Vanessa wanted to know if couples could get their Save the Date invitations created from the images as they become increasingly more popular. This is indeed an option and it gave me the idea to help visualise what they can look like and I have created two examples.

Of course this is just a small selection and so much more is possible.

Landgoed Elswout Engagement: Femke + Peter

It there anything better than photographing an engagement session on a beautiful location with a nice couple? I don't think so. What a pleasure it was when we could walk the gardens of Landgoed Elswout and the sun kissed the environment. The little boys playing and being part of this whole experience. And just like with every engagement I had so many images to choose from.

Especially with couples that already have children it is a engagement/family session and kids always have their own plan. Finding things in nature that I would never pick up. "Look!" and through my viewfinder I was looking at a snail, "Thank you very much."

We had a great time and I think it shows in the images. If you want to see more of the nice engagement CLICK HERE FOR THE SLIDESHOW.

Landgoed Elswout Engagement Preview: Femke + Peter

A sigh of relief escaped Femke when she heard I was still available on her weddingday. The options for an engagementsession were limited with their weddingday fast approaching and full agenda's but everything worked out great.

So this past weekend we could go out with their children to Landgoed Elswout. A great place for an engagement session and even though it was quite crowded due to a picknick we hardly noticed and walk and make some great images. The sun even showed during the session making it all complete.

Here a preview of this fun session of Femke and Peter.

Amsterdam Lloyd Hotel Engagement: Chieri & Itoshi

They met three years ago when Chieri applied for a job at the firm where Itoshi worked. He must have felt right away that this girl was the one, the one he had to have for the job and so he said yes and hired her. Not knowing at the time it would be the start of something beautiful and that they would say yes again very soon but then to each other.

Being an architect and designer Itoshi loves Amsterdam. That is one of the reasons they choose to stay at the Lloyd Hotel that was redesigned by the architects of MVRDV. We started inside an found many nice spots to capture. In the visinity of the hotel we found even more great architectural hotspots that we went out to see.

If you want to see them all take a look at the SLIDESHOW of this sweet session here.

Chieri you are beautiful
