We complete our Hilton series with a bang. These two grooms we got to capture were such a great couple. Enthousiastic, funny and real pro's in front of the camera. I was sure they had been in front of the camera many times but they were not, this was a first.

On their wedding day 5 years ago they did not even have a photographer. We had so much fun with the cake, the view and the sun on the balcony. So here the preview of Frans and Mark.

Every wedding has at least a bouquette and a boutenier but a wedding day can look so much prettier with flowers, decoration and wedding day styling. José of Stijlvol Groen is a master at creating beautiful flower arrangement that you can use through out the day. A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing José from Stijlvol Groen. We have worked together a couple of time and every time she knows to surprise with beautiful flowers and styling. She is full of great ideas and always make certain that the final result is what the couple envisions. Normally the flowers take center stage so it was super fun to have José alone in front of my camera. The weather was helping a lot and the trees were full of blossom. Today a preview

The forecast said no rain, no sun either but when I was in my car the raindrop were falling from the sky. But it stopped when I arrived at the location. When Robby and Tatiana came along with their little son the sky was still grey but not threatening. So I was happy to see that while we stayed outside the sun decided to join us.

It was so fun to be out together with Robby and Tatiana. They are so happy and Robby knows how to make Tatiana smile. But the star of the afternoon was their little son. He took center stage. Only 7 months and he can already stand leaning against the table, what a sweet boy.

Robby and Tatiana I am really looking forward to their wedding next month.

We discussed places to meet for the engagement shoot. Robby and Tatiana were looking for somewhere outdoors, preferably with flowers. Tatiana is a huge fan of flowers so that was a definite prerequisite. We thought about the Keukenhof but with the amount of visitors and the limited possiblities in the park we decided on something else. We found the Haarlemmermeerse Bos expecting that in May the trees and flowers would be in full bloom. We were just in time with blossom in the trees. We found some great locations for this engagement session.

So today a preview of this lovely session.

Today you can see the result of the session we did with Kirsten and Michiel. We were lucky to get a beauiful day, a beautiful view and a beautiful couple with their beautiful son. So every ingredient available for a great day. Kirsten and Michiel are a great couple. Every look was returned by a smile.

On one of the top floors of the DoubleTree by Hilton venue near Amsterdam Central Station you get treated to an amazing view and an amazing location for a wedding and party. The rooftop garden gives you access to dance the night away.
